Labels in ArcMap

                                        Labels 

In my previous post I have done how to use symbology tool in the ArcMap 10. So to day we are going to give Labels for the polygons, If u need go through my previous post and refresh your memory....

Step 1,

First of all you have to add shape file to a layer which contain at-least few polygons. (better to use your previous example), then go to properties,

Step 2,

Then select "Label" tab,

Step 3,

Then tick on the "Label feature" and then in the "Label field" select the field you need to add labels.. 

Step 4,

Now you can see labels appear in the polygon, make sure in the attribute table you have add names properly .
